I remember driving home from the hospital feeling like the nurses and doctors were crazy to let us take you. Were we ready? Did we have everything? What if you started crying and we weren't sure why? I bet most parents feel a bit unsure of themselves at first. On the second night, you sneezed like 6 times in a row and we just froze like "what should we do?" Its funny to think about now but we really thought something was wrong. Oh how far we've come.
I remember feeling every emotion times a million! I would look at other mothers with babies and feel like we had some kind of bond. There is a special club women belong to after carrying and delivering a baby. Its hard to explain but you don't know that feeling until you stare at your baby and realize you really did just create a human being. Wow.
Just about anything you do puts happy tears in my eyes. Your Aunt Kari told me it was hormones but here we are 4 months later and I still can simply stare at you and cry on the spot! -Love Mom
