I know I know!! Time flies lately. I have so much to update!

Your first Thanksgiving dinner was at your Binker grandparents house and desert with the Westerlind grandparents. You seemed to enjoy everything on your tray! We had a great dinner although you weren't too into turkey but I think that will change. Of course when we got to desert Gramma and Pop Pop W insisted you get some pie and apple crisp which you said "umm." (yum)

Your first Christmas was wonderful. We are so lucky to have so many loved ones to celebrate with. The day before Christmas we celebrated with your Henrichsen Grandparents who spoiled you and your cousins! On Christmas morning you woke up and wanted your usual ba ba but passed back out right after! Figures! We got you a bunch of trucks so your dad taught you to say vroom vroom. We then went to your Binker Grandparents house and Santa left you a new train with alphabet blocks. Of course you got many other gifts while we were there. I should note that Grammi makes egg souffle every Christmas and its just not my thing but your dad insisted you eat it and you did like it. I guess we will see in the years to come if you really do :)
Off to Grandparents W and you got a big yellow dump truck that you push around or sit on. You love vroom vrooming that truck! Christmas was wonderful and so much fun. I know the years to come will get even more fun as you will understand it more.

Your 1st Birthday!! We had your party at your Binker grandparents house. We had all your family and some close friends there. We made chicken and steak kabobs, your Gamma made pasta salad, your Aunt Kari made cheese bread and your Grammi made your first birthday cake. Everything was delicious! When we first got there, your Aunt ryan and Uncle Brian had your very first motorized kawasaki quad. At first I thought it couldn't be age appropriate but it is! Then I was thinking even if you did get on it you probably would fall off and be scared of it. I was soooo wrong! Not only did you hop right on but you pushed the button and off you went! I realized in that moment you really are growing up, I just still see you as my baby. Seeing you do new things is incredible! I really mean that, you take my breath away. You devoured your first cake and got so many presents. The Westerlind Grandparents got you a cozy coupe police car. I just know this spring you'll be asking daddy to push you around in your little car and won't want your stroller ever again. I should note that your great Grampa Binker and Naida came all the way to town to celebrate your 1st Birthday. How special are you?!

You got your first haircut 3 days before your birthday. You cried the whole time! I felt so bad but the lady just kept going so I had to let her finish. Grammi came with me and took pictures and video so one day you'll laugh about it! You look like a little boy now. I just shake my head cause time flies. I'm so proud of you. You are taking about 6-8 steps on your own. Any day you will be walking and then running and then I'm in trouble! Especially since I 'am 10 weeks pregnant with your brother or sister. Yes, we are having another one sometime in September. I spend a little time worrying its too soon and maybe you didn't get enough time but then I think about how close I 'am to all my sisters and I want that for you. My hope is you will be close since you will be so close in age - 19 months apart I think. We have 10 weeks till we find out the gender but I will keep the blog updated I promise!!

I love you my Wyatt! What a year of complete joy and happiness you have brought to our lives. As our family grows so will all these special moments. You are my little buddy now and forever. -Love Mom
