Where do I even begin? I'm really feeling guilty now because I took so much time off from the blog and in that time you have grown so much. Just this morning I looked over at you in your jumper and thought to myself "Is he really standing there so tall and big? Is that the same boy from last week?!" You are so darn cute and I just have to say how much I adore you. You have this chubby giggle/laugh that makes me want to just eat you up. I can't believe I have been blessed with another boy that just melts my heart. You bring happy tears to my eyes on a daily basis.
So, you are definitely more on the feisty side. I think you will be one of those boys that knows what you want and will make sure you get it. You like to be heard thats for sure! You are rolling from your back to your tummy but refuse to go the other way. I think you just like being on your tummy or maybe you don't want to roll the other way because I'm asking you to!! There's a trait from the Binker side! I swear you are getting a tooth any second but don't we all assume that when your covered in drool and have whole fists in your mouth? Well we all go though it and I guarantee your not the only one wishing this process will hurry up! You stand very well in your saucer and jumper and are starting to turn in them. You still have the spit-up issue but its getting better. Oh I started you on solids around 4 months and you picked it up real quick! You like bananas, pears, apples (kind of), sweet potatoes and carrots but peas not so much. You are a pretty chill little boy. Lucky me. You let me know what you want and have little patience when you're hungry but besides that you just hang out and go with the flow.
You love Wyatt. Wait let me rephrase that. You absolutely love Wyatt. You are such buddies already. Wyatt said to me this morning "Mama brother play trucks in my room." We hang out a lot in his room and you love to watch him play with all his toys. You'll always have a truck or dinosaur in your mouth. We also read a lot of books with you which Wyatt loves his books so he gets really excited to pick out the ones I read to you. The bond is growing stronger everyday between you two and the bigger you get the more Wyatt hovers around you. He is always able to get you to stop crying somehow. The two of you are just precious. I look forward to watching your relationship develop into something more and more special.
Finally you have the understanding look. You look in my eyes and just gaze. You know I'm your mama and I can see that you love me. You have so many expressions and seem to really know your surroundings. One thing I find funny is the way you watch me cook. You sit in your bumbo with your hands together and get really lost in thought almost like you are thinking "What is she making?! Thats not how you do it!" Who knows, maybe you'll like cooking one day. I'm hoping you boys will take after your dad in that he is good at a lot of things. He definitely cooks better than me and Wyatt actually requests him! But mainly I love that your dad can blend in most situations wether its fishing, snowboarding, golfing or riding dirt bikes. He gets along with just about anyone and is always willing to lend a hand. I think that will rub off on you and Wyatt. I know I have my work cut out for me but its so worth it! You, my baby Gatlon, are such a blessing and I love seeing your cute face pop up in your crib and look around for me. You trust that I will be there for you and I promise I always will be. -Love Mom
