Dear Gatlon...

My pregnancy with you was pretty much the same as with Wyatt. EASY! I really don't have a tough time being pregnant. The big difference was chasing your brother around and the bigger I got the harder it became. I will say though that you were quite the mover. I would just look at your dad and shake my head because your movements at times took my breath away. We kept saying you would be our feisty one and boy were we right!
The doctor gave you a different due date than my own date. She went by September 19th but I knew for certain it was the 16th. I actually told everyone I was due the 16th and low and behold you came on the 16th! Wyatt was born 2 weeks early but you hung out and made us wait. On the 15th we went out to dinner and took Wyatt to the park. We stopped by the store on the way home to buy a exercise ball cause I heard if you sit on it and lightly move around it helps progress labor. So after Wyatt was asleep I sat on it for a bit but was tired so I went to bed around 10pm. I woke up around 11:30pm thinking I wet the bed but sure enough my water broke! I paused for a few minutes before waking your dad because I needed to process that it was almost time to meet you.

So your Grammie came over to stay with Wyatt and off we went to the hospital. Of course we couldn't sleep and just waited all night for it to be time. I wasn't dilating very fast so the doctor put me on pitocin. I ended up getting an epidural because well its a painful process! Your Gamma and Aunt Kari came that morning and were there for your birth at 10:04 am. You were 7 lbs 4 ounces and 20 1/2 inches. You looked just like Wyatt! I was so happy you were finally here. Now my family felt complete. Wyatt came later that day and met you but was more interested in the tractor toy "you" got for him! I can't believe I have 2 healthy boys. Lucky me. -Love Mom
